Ferdinand Historical Society, PO Box 194,

Hello, and thank you for visiting the web site of the Ferdinand Historical Society.

The Ferdinand Historical Society is dedicated to preserve and promote the history of the Ferdinand community. We are always looking for historical information. If you have a family story, a local artifact, old photographs, or other local memorabilia, we would be happy to take a look and add that information to our archives. Contributions to assist us in our goals are welcome and are tax-deductible.Thank you!

We have a large catalog of documents, photographs and artifacts that trace the founding of Ferdinand in 1840, and its history, through the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.  For example, here is a photo of our town's first police car, a 1957 Chevrolet.
